 Pinewood Net

Hello and welcome to Pinewood Net's website. Pinewood Net was borne out of an idea to enable professional actors to get work and to make work for themselves. It's a platform for professional actors to connect up with other actors and professionals in the industry.

Here you will be able to find out who our current members are, what they are doing as a group and what they are doing as individual artists. What the group's upcoming projects are, what there is here for the director, producer, casting director and writer. All of whom will find opportunities to become pro members of Pinewood Net. Whether you want to expand your own career or don't have that need but would like to be a part of a very exciting new venture. A venture that is intended to benefit all those that choose to 'pay and play'.

INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS and public alike you can reserve your place/book tickets to our events here on Pinewood Net's site. Members can update their own profiles, add photographs and share tips among themselves as well as sharing valuable information with others in the forum.

How do you 'stay alive' as an actor at the times that you are not enjoying the benefits, lifestyle and reality – to say nothing of stability - of being in a production of one form or another at any given time? You could join Pinewood Net and take part in showcases, productions and other relevant projects. You will find out how you can become a member of Pinewood Net at the bottom of this page. Upon application to join the group (by submission of your photo, CV, Spotlight pin (UK only) and showreel or audition piece) you will find out about the common agreements of the group. Taking the full tour of this site should be enough for you to decide if what we are doing aligns with your own goals and purposes.

  • For you DIRECTOR & CASTING DIRECTOR
We want your details and to be able to invite you to our showcases, work for you and in some cases employ you ourselves. It may be that you are ordinarily employed by a theatre, film or television company. Perhaps you own your own company. See what we can do for each other.
  • For you WRITER
We want your details too and to invite you to submit new work to us and to work with you. We want to let people know where they can find you and give you work as well.
  • For you AGENT
We hope here that you will find, 'for a limited time only', in any given case where one of our actors and actresses is without representation, artists that you like the look of, want to meet and in turn get work for. We want to help you get that work for us in the projects in which we involve ourselves. We want to help you as much as we want you to help us. You are our friends and people we can rely on and want you to know that you can rely on us too. Together we can generate more work than otherwise we might create without helping each other in this way.


In short we want to help and be helped in many and varied aesthetic ways and ventures.
